Instructors
Laura
grew up in St. Louis, Missouri and attended Ursuline Academy. During her
years at Ursuline she performed at Disneyland as a member of the Lion
King parade for three springs and two summers. She also performed at the
St. Louis Muny in shows such as 42nd Street, My Fair Lady, Funny Girl
and West Side Story. Laura then went on to receive her B.F.A. in Dance
Performance from Stephens College. During her years at Stephens College
she was a member of Stephens College Repertory Dance, Davidson Dance Group,
Dimensions student performance collective, and acted as President of XTE;
dance honor society. As part of the dance criteria she was immersed in
modern, ballet, tap, jazz, East Indian, Flamenco,African, Irish, and Pilates.
After graduation Laura's interest in Pilates grew and she became a certified
instructor through Pilates Certification Center in Raleigh, NC. She is
currently facilitating private and public Pilates courses throughout Columbia,
MO.
